To the Entire Ives Family-There are no words to describe the loss of a loved one, especially when it is your mother. She was the constant, the one holding the family together, nurturing the family, animals, feeding everyone, and having the kitchen door always open. Her love for all of you was evident in how she took care of you all in the many little things that we don't realize until they are no longer there doing them. For many years, it was her call telling me the corn was ready. She was a true partner with your father and a good example of how women have been in business for years, and will be missed, I'm sure. Please remember those years, of you all growing up together, working your family business and farm together. It is a rare gift, and not for the faint of heart. Wishing you all many wonderful memoires to share, stories to hear about from others, and much love to hold on to during this difficult time. Our little Guilford community has lost a little something in her passing-it was an honor being"neighbors" sending you much love-Paul and Caroline Laing
