Margaret Hohreiter Margaret Hohreiter, 98, formerly of Bainbridge passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in Manlius, NY after a brief illness. Margaret was born in Guilford, NY to parents Theodore and Katherine Hoffman. She graduated from Guilford Central School and SUNY Oneonta. She was an elementary school teacher in the Bainbridge-Guilford school system for more than 30 years, retiring in 1973. Margaret was a lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Bainbridge. She enjoyed traveling and following her retirement, would spend her summers in Vermont. She also enjoyed knitting and needle point, as well as reading. Margaret was predeceased by her husband William Hohreiter, and her sister Mary Yenson. She is survived by her son, David (Connie) Hohreiter and her grandchildren, William and Allison Hohreiter, all of Jamesville NY, as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 32 South Main Street, Bainbridge, NY 13733 at 11:00 am on Monday December 28th. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Church or Hospice CNY, 900 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.landersfh.com.
