Obituary of Roland J. Frear

Roland J. Frear Binghamton—Roland John Frear, 65, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Bridgewater Rehabilitation & Nursing Center where he has resided since January. Roland was born on October 23, 1949 in Greene, NY, son of the late Ivan and Dorothy (Rogers) Frear. He enjoyed bowling, horseback riding and camping. He loved McDonalds and flirting with his nurses. Roland is survived by his five siblings: Sharon Nichols of Unadilla, Nancy and Skip Morrow of Sidney, Kenneth Frear of Masonville, Dianne Crisell of South Carolina and Donna Linker of Vermont, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gary Frear. Roland's family wishes to thank everyone who has cared for Roland over the years. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Glenwood Cemetery in Afton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be considered to Broome Developmental Center.
