Florence (Helen) Curtis Sidney, NY Florence Helen Curtis, 67 of Sidney, passed away on Monday night, September 14, 2009 at her home. Helen was born on January 15, 1942, to Viola and Floyd Tuckey, who predeceased her. Helen worked at Mead Westvaco for 20 years. On July 9, 1960, she married her loving husband, Raymond Curtis. Helen was a loving mother to her children: Raymond and his partner Lisa, Michelle (Shelly) and her partner Terry, Scott and his wife Melody, Richard and his wife Jenn, and Lisa and her partner Paul. She was a loving grandmother to: Raeann, Leighanna, Amber and her husband Cef, Ryan, Alicia, Nicole, Christine, Jackie, Richard, Jr., Brittney, Taylor, Morgan and Jordan; and a loving great-grandmother to Brianna, Kiera, Devin, Aiden and Colby. She was a loving sister and sister-in-law to Jannett, Kenneth, Shirley, Tela, William (who predeceased her), Robert (who predeceased her) and Delores (who predeceased her), Clairmae Mohrien, Kathryn Ostrander, Betty and Dale Meek, Bob and Rose Curtis; as well as a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Bassett Dialysis and Catskill Area Hopsice & Palliative Care for everything they did for Helen.
