Robert E. Rice, Sr.
Guilford—Robert E. Rice, Sr., 70, of Guilford, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his home.
He was born on June 1, 1944 son of the late Evan and Josephine Rice in White Plains, NY.
He served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged.
Robert was a self employed carpenter, who loved his horses and enjoyed dancing.
He is survived by his three children, Robert Jr., Justin and Tracy, several grandchildren, his Fiancee, Candee and many friends.
Friends are invited to call from 1:00 to 3:00pm on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to benefit his son, Justin Rice, c/o 205 County Route 9 Stop 25 Ghent, NY 12075. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
