Obituary of Jacqueline Sue Ruff

Jacqueline Ruff, Sidney Center, NY After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Jacqueline Sue (Kuck) Ruff, 62, of Sidney Center, NY went to be with The Lord on Friday, September 19, 2014 at the AO Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta, NY, while surrounded by family & friends. Jackie was born in Lima, Ohio to Wallace W. & Marian E. Kuck on June 24, 1952. Jackie spent her youth in New Knoxville, Ohio where she met her former husband & friend, Wayne Ruff. The two were married in 1971 & moved to Sidney Center, NY where they raised their family. Jackie had a deep love for her family & friends, animals & art, all of which she had in abundance. Jackie turned her creative talents into her own business, Bellatare Creations, where she made beautiful wreaths, sculptures, & other home decor. She also worked for many years at Chambers Auction in Unadilla, & most recently at SUNY Oneonta in the Office of International Education. Jackie is survived by her mother, Marian Kuck of New Knoxville, OH; her children, Alisha (Carlton) Rule of Oneonta, Jason (Renae) Ruff of Oxford; her companion, Larry Hagedorn & his family; her grandchildren Gabby & Mia Barbera, Olivia, Griffin, & Maeve Rule, Jacob & Jadyn Ruff; her siblings Gary (Luanne) Kuck, Sandy (Roger) Hoelscher, Gene (Jane) Kuck, Steve (Kay) Kuck all of New Knoxville, OH; and her dear friends, Claudia Hilts, Renata Talbot, Karen Gilbertson & Susan Rostefer. Jackie was pre-deceased by her father, Wallace W. Kuck. Arrangements are being handled by CH Landers Funeral Home 21 Main St. Sidney, NY. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September 23rd from 3pm - 6pm, with a memorial service at 6pm.
