Obituary of Ann Scotti

Ann Scotti Guilford, NY Ann Scotti, 90, of Guilford, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. She was born on July 4, 1923, daughter of the late Vincent and Rose (Conti) Caruso in Queens. She was employed as a secretary for Budweiser Distribution Company. On September 9, 1945, Ann was married to James L. Scotti in Long Island City, NY. He predeceased her on February 28, 2008. Ann and James moved to the area from Uniondale, NY in the late 1980s to be near family. Ann is survived by: Her son and daughter-in-law, James and Brenda Scotti of Guilford Granddaughter, Amy and Robert Taylor of PA Grandson, Sean Scotti of Queens Step-grandchildren: Tracy Pikul of Rockdale, Val Barnard of Guilford and Ben Barnard of North Carolina 2 Sisters: Rita Mazzei and Louise Carlson, both of Long Island Dear friend, Marian Hinkley of Sidney Extended family, Deb and Howard Butler of Bainbridge As well as several nieces, nephews and cousins In addition to her husband, Ann was predeceased by three sisters, Ray Jacobs, Mary Ferrente and Josephine Ottavo. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Yaleville Cemetery.
