Helen W. Kane Afton, NY Helen W. Kane, 91 of Afton, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, August 1, 2009 at Ahner's Adult Home in Harpursville. Helen was born on March 13, 1918, daughter of the late John and Anna (Marks) Whitmore in Binghamton, NY. Helen was married to Charles (Red) Kane; he predeceased her. She was a machinist at E.C.D. of Bendix until her retirement. Helen is survived by: Son and daughter-in-law: John and Connie Pierce 2 granddaughters: Nikki Page and her husband, Greg Lori Wilson and her husband, Steven 3 Great granddaughters: Jessica Hogancamp and her husband, Jason Lindsay Jennings and her husband, Josh Tia Wilson 2 Great, Great Grandsons: Justin and Jason Hogancamp In addition to her husband, Charles, Helen was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Whitmore A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Nineveh Presbyterian Church, Route 7 Nineveh. Burial will follow at the Nineveh Cemetery, Nineveh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Helen's name may be made to the Nineveh Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 115 Nineveh, NY 13813.
