Richard Smith Sidney Center, NY Richard Smith 79 of Sidney Center, formerly of Deposit went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2014 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his parents Leslie and Daisy Smith, Brothers, Robert and Norman and Sister, Wanda Hoyt, Grandchildren Samantha and Christina Snow, Nephew Robert Lindley and several brother and sister-in-laws. He is survived by his loving wife Donna of 58 years. His children Michele Vicario, Crimora, VA, Karen (Larry) Snow, Johnson City, Rebecca (Steve) Wright, Deposit, Richard (Annette) Smith, Brunswick, GA, Leslie Smith, Staunton, VA, Donald (Jennifer) Smith, Johnson City, Arthur Smith, Sidney Center, Tammy (Donald) Alger, Sidney Center Brother, Roy Smith, Cayuga Lake, NY Sister, Marie Campbell, Godeffroy, NY He is also survived by 20 Grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren several nieces, nephew and cousins. Brother-in-law Karl (Connie) Truesdell, Franklinville, NY and sister-in-law Louann (Richard) Lindley Seymour, TN He was a farmer and handy man most of his life. He loved raising and showing beef cows. A private memorial will be held at the family's convenience at a later date.
