Obituary of Debra Irene Barnard

Debra I. Barnard Bainbridge, NY Debra I Barnard, 59, of Bainbridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by love after a long battle with illness on Saturday, February 8, 2014. She was predeceased by her daughter Shannon Barnard, father Wilson Cordner, sisters Donna Cordner, Nancy Roof, and Sandy Christensien, and brother Bill Cordner. She is survived by daughter, Kathleen Barnard of Bainbridge, son and daughter-in-law, Erik and Jacqueline Barnard of Bainbridge, two grandchildren, Loegan Bailey and Davis Barnard and her four-legged grandchildren (pets!), her mother, Irene Cordner of Sidney, sister Sonja Wilson of Denver, Colorado, brother Gene Cordner of Afton, brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Deb Cordner of Bainbridge, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. She was a title clerk for Country Club Auto Group. Deb really enjoyed spending time with her family, good music, good food, and good times with her friends. She was a one of a kind person who will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 12th from 5-7pm at C. H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney, NY. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 13th at 11am also at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel. Immediately following the services on Thursday the 13th, a gathering will be at the Elks Lodge on River Street in Sidney, NY.
