Esther M. Wilson 78 of Masonville passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 in Sidney.
She was born March 4, 1931, daughter of the Late Joseph and Ada (Beagle) Dow in Walton.
Esther married Richard Wilson on July 25, 1948 in Masonville. He predeceased her on October 31, 1982.
Esther loved country music and to dance. She also enjoyed spending time and following her families sporting events.
Esther is survived by:
2 Sons and Daughters-in-law - James and Karen Wilson, Sidney
Rodney and Beth Wilson, Wycoff, NJ
Sister - Gertrude Witherow, Walton
12 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews
She was also predeceased by her son Dale, Brother, Everett Dow, Sister, Elizabeth Hulse and 2 companions Herbert Howland and Kenneth Walker.
Friends may call Sunday, July 26, 2009 from 6-8 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert Howard, pastor of the Masonville Federated Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Masonville Cemetery
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care 1 Birchwood Drive Oneonta, NY 13820
