Carol Jean Schuman Sidney, NY Carol Jean Schuman 64 formerly of Sidney passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Northgate Healthcare Facility in North Tonawanda, NY She was born April 9, 1949, daughter of the late Lester C. and Elizabeth (Shackelton) Schuman in Honesdale, PA. Carol worked as cook and loved to watch cooking shows. She also was a member of the Adams Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary in Wheatfield, NY. Carol is survived by her children - Donna and Michael McClure, North Tonawanda, NY Dale and Meghan Knowles, Sidney, NY And Dodie Sporer, Gloversville, NY Grandchildren, Skyler, Reice, Ragan, Kaden, Kyran, Lexi, Robie, Ricky, Billy, Nathaniel and Lyndsay. And a great grandchild, Hayley Brother and sister-in-law - David and Carolyn Schuman, Sidney She was also predeceased son Glenn I. Pierce, Jr. Friends may call Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2-4 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney Funeral services will be held Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral chapel with Rev. Fred Albrecht officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney.
