Daniel Reimers South New Berlin, NY Daniel Reimers, 45, of South New Berlin, originally from Fanwood, New Jersey, died unexpectedly on November 7, 2013. He was born December 17, 1967 in Pincher Creek, Alberta the son of John and Barbara Reimers of Bethlehem, PA. Daniel attended school at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School in Scotch Plains, NJ. He was a very warm and kindhearted individual who enjoyed building models, fishing, baseball card collections and drawing. Danny was also an avid swimmer. He is survived by: his mother, Barbara Reimers, Bethlehem, PA; sister, Stephanie Reimers, Coatesville, PA; aunt and uncle, Virginia and Larry Van Eaton of Taos, NM; two cousins, Marnie Rose and Gabriel Lefthand, Taos, NM; and dear friend and longtime caretaker, Tom Rutenber of South New Berlin, NY. Danny was predeceased by his father, John Reimers. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00am at the Holmesville Baptist Church, 3024 State Highway 8, South New Berlin, NY 13843 with Rev. Romeyn Kipp, pastor officiating. Friends may call an hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holmesville Baptist Church, 3024 New York State Highway 8, South New Berlin, NY 13843.
