Dorothy Irene Smith, 84, of Bainbridge, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton. Dorothy was born on September 26, 1928, daughter of the late Ernest and Nina (Jump) Darlin in Afton, NY.
She is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Maryanne Smith of Bainbridge; daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Tim Earle of Bainbridge; brother, Lloyd Darlin of Bainbridge; four grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Lena Butts and Ruth Darlin.
A graveside service will take place at 1:00pm on Monday, September 9, 2013 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bainbridge Emergency Squad. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
