Obituary of Victor Foster

Victor Foster Bainbridge, NY Victor Foster, 94 of Bainbridge passed away peacefully at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford. He was born November 7, 1918 son of the late Samuel and Tillie (Sloan) Foster in Monaghan, New bliss county Ireland. Victor graduated from Bainbridge High School and served his country in the United States Air Force during WWII. He married Ruth Palmer on July 28, 1948 in Camillus, NY. She predeceased him on December 27, 1989. Victor was employed as an inspector at the Amphenol Corp Sidney when he retired. He is survived by: Daughter and Son-in-law - Vickie and Mitch Glover, Sidney 2 Sons and a daughter-in-law - Gary and Kathie Foster, Sidney Center Dale Foster, Bainbridge 10 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren And many nieces and nephews. Victor was also predeceased by a brother, Howard Foster and sister Meta Foster Friends may call Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Benjamin Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bainbridge.
