Esther Haynes Oneonta, NY Esther Marion Haynes, 75 passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta. Esther was born on July 2, 1933, daughter of the late Bruce and Mary (Walley) McCall in Walton. On December 17, 1952, Esther married Raymond E. Haynes in Walton. He predeceased her on June 8, 2005. Esther was employed by Bendix in Sidney until her retirement in 1985. Esther is survived by: Son and daughter-in-law: Frederic and Beth Haynes Daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and Wayne R. Charles Grandchildren: Steve Walsh, Tasha and Bryan Butts, Ericka Charles, and Wayne A. Charles and Katrina Vangorder Great Grandchildren: Dexter, Austin and Corbyn Sister-in-law, Carol McCall Nephew, Howard Morris and 2 nieces, Lisa Burge and Beth Stanhope In addition to her parents and husband, Ray, Esther was predeceased by her brother, Bruce "Buddy" McCall. Friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 10:00am-11:00am at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place in Walton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Esther's name may be directed to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, 101 E. Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com. The family would like to express their gratitude to all who cared for Esther at A.O. Fox Nursing Home. Arrangements under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney.
