Eva C. Button 93 of Mt. Upton passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Chase Memorial Nursing Home in New Berlin.

She was born May 17, 1919 daughter of the late Richard and Pearl (Gransbury) Charles in Hamden, NY.

Eva graduated from Franklin Central Schools and Oneonta Normal in 1940. She was employed by E.C.D. of Bendix in Sidney until she retired in 1979.

Eva was a past member of the Sidney Ladies of the Moose, IAM Union, the Sidney Boat Club and the Borden Hose Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by:

3 Sons - Frederick Frewert, Bainbridge

Roger Frewert, Guilford

Charles Frewert, Ogden, Utah

Daughter - Linda Keach, New Berlin

Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eva was predeceased by her husband, Howard Button.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 2 to 4 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. Peggi Eller, Pastor of the Mt. Upton United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Sidney Center.
