Masonville, NY
Gertrude M. Ayres, 68, of Masonville, passed away February 26, 2013 at Albany Medical Center from complications from heart surgery. She was born December 16, 1944 in Manhattan, NY, the youngest of 11 siblings. She was predeceased by both parents, Margaret and Edward Flood.
Trudy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Alvin Ayres, 3 children and 4 grandchildren. She retired from Mead and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Friends are invited to call from 2:00-4:00pm on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Private burial will be held in Long Island at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com.
