Obituary of Madeline Georgiana Hartman

Madeline G. Hartman Sidney, NY Madeline G. Hartman, 77, of Sidney, passed away peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness on Saturday, December 22, 2012. She was born July 16, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Marie Elizabeth Inman and George Belfour England and grandfather William Henry Inman. Madeline was predeceased by her husband of forty years, Henry Hartman, in 1996; as well as her siblings, Robert England, George England and Marilyn Smith. Madeline is survived by her four children: Son, Henry and Marie Hartman (Rock Tavern); Three Daughters: Kathleen Grillman and Mike Ambrosino (Florida), Linda and James Dewey (Sidney), with whom she resided, and Barbara Hartman and Mike Byrnes (Sidney Center); grandchildren: William Grillman and Gina Campbell (Afton), Arthur and Lori Grillman (Middle Village), Robert Finch (FL), and her pride and joy, Alyssa Madeline Byrnes (Sidney Center); and great grandchildren: Cheyenne Grillman (NJ) and Logan J. Grillman (Middle Village). Madeline retired from an Administrative position she held on Wall Street before moving to Upstate New York in 1984. She loved knitting, crocheting, playing games on her computer and reading mysteries, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. There will be no calling hours as Madeline requested, and a private burial will be scheduled at a later date.
