Juanita (Leech) Nichols New Berlin, NY Juanita (Leech) Nichols, 83, of New Berlin, passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born on December 4, 1928, daughter of Arthur and Georginez (Camp) Leech. She married Julian Linn Nichols on December 14, 1946 in Guilford. She worked as an inspector at Bendix for many years. She is predeceased by her husband, Julian Nichols; two sisters, Alma Bresee and Marion Berube; five brothers, Robert Leech, Donald Leech, Arthur Leech, Edward Leech, and Allan Leech; one grand-daughter, Kelly Nichols; one niece, Yvonne Spathelf; and one nephew, Henry Leech. She is survived by her four children: Daniel L. Nichols of Cortland, Dean E. (Linda) Nichols of South New Berlin, Roxanne M. (Michael) Brown of Otego and Michael L. (Deborah) Nichols of Morris; 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Burial will take place at 1:00pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Butternut Cemetery, Gilbertsville with Rev. William Allen officiating. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the Morris VFW, 314 Ellis Road, Morris, New York. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chase Nursing Home, P.O. Box 250, New Berlin, NY 13411. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
