Trudy Baker, 90, of Sidney passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich. She was born November 29, 1921 to the late Frederick and Fanny (Haller) Wuthrich, Sr. in Meiringen, Switzerland. Trudy owned and operated Trudy's Shoes in Sidney for many years and attended the First Congregational Church in Sidney.
She is survived by:
Brother - Fred Wuthrich, Jr. Sidney
Sister - Erna Babcock, Sidney
Nephew - Jason Babcock, Sidney
She was also predeceased by her longtime companion, Bill Latus and Sister Dora Lang
Friends may call at their convenience on Monday, October 29, 2012 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Valley Humane Society 101 East Main St. Sidney, NY.
