Henry Meritt Sherman
Monticello, NY
Henry Meritt Sherman 74 of Monticello formerly of Bainbridge passed away June 10, 2012.
He was born son of the late Earl and Emma (Sutton) Sherman in Bainbridge.
Henry served his country in the United States Army for 2 years. He was a carpenter and tradesman working for Camp Kennybrook in Monticello for many years.
He was known to have a sense of humor.
He is survived by:
Son, Lynn Jay Sherman, Sr.
A sister Marrion Sargent
4 grandchildren and 4 great, grandchildren
And several nieces and nephews.
Henry was also predeceased by 2 brothers, Floyd and Gerald Sherman.
Friends may call Monday, June 18, 2012 from 1-2 PM At C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM and will be conducted by the Church of Latter Day Saints in the funeral chapel.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bainbridge.
