Penelope N. Williams Sidney, NY Penelope "Penny" Williams 65 of Sidney passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich. She was born July 11, 1946, daughter of the late Hooper and Mary Ellen (Johnson) Williams in Findlay, OH. Penny loved people and spent her life taking care of others. In the past she worked for local nursery schools assisting in the care of children. Most recently Penny was a medically certified care giver and devoted employee for Joshua House in Sidney. Penny was also a life member of the Sidney VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Sidney American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by: Daughter - Meghan Cooper and Dale Knowles, Sidney Daughter - Amanda and Robert VanVoris, Sidney 2 Sons - Chris and Nikki Hurd, Sidney Ben Hurd, Sidney 2 Sisters - Caitlin and John Stolle, Brooklyn, WI Susan Williams and Timothy Lavollo, Buffalo Dear Friend, Robert Backus, Sidney Many Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Sidney VFW 133 West Main St. Sidney, NY 13838 Condolences may be sent to the family online to www.landersfh.com Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel Sidney.
