Obituary of Anna May Stoutenberg

Anna Stoutenberg Bainbridge, NY Anna Stoutenberg, 75, of Bainbridge, went to be with her husband and predeceased family members on Saturday, November 19, 2011 while at home after battling with many diseases. Anna is survived by her children, Gail E. Smith of Afton and Gary and Gail Stoutenberg of Bainbridge; a sister, Isabelle Dutcher of Jacksonville, FL; and four grandchildren: Royce Hallett (Bellevue, Neb.), Emmie Nelson (Masonville), Lisa and Jim Cummings (Norwich), and Denialle Lee (Syracuse). She was a great-grandmother to fourteen: Dereck, Brooke, Brandi, Dylan and Dalton Nelson, Mercedez and Kobe Lee, Ethan and Amiyah Cummings, Luciano and Manuela Hallett, Makenzie Darling, Brandon and Madison Smith and great-great grandmother to Ameilyah May Nelson. She was predeceased by her mother, Iva Winn, her brother, Eugene "Buddy" Winn, her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Stoutenberg and a grandson, Dominic Smith. Anna was a machinist at Amphenol for many years and enjoyed helping Heller's at their strawberry farm. She loved her family and was a strong, stubborn woman. If you were fortunate to be her friend, she'd give you all she could give. She will be dearly missed by many. Family and friends are invited to call from 11:00am-1:00pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm at the funeral chapel with Donna Steckline, Hospice of Chenango County Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Chenango County, 21 Hayes St. Norwich, NY 13815 for their many hours of dedicated service.
