Eli K. Kelly Sidney, NY Eli K. Kelly 93 of Sidney passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Tri-town Regional Hospital in Sidney. He was born November 22, 1917 son of the late Sylvenus and Lillian (Streeter) Kelly in the town of Middletown. Eli married Ruth McCann on May 23, 1963 in Great Bend, PA. He worked at the Amphenol Corp. in Sidney for over 25 years before he retired. In his younger years, Eli was very active in the Boy Scouts and enjoyed working in the ceramic shop with Ruth. He loved living in the Senior Village in Sidney. Eli joined in all social events including Bingo and Senior meals. He liked sweets, watching children and loved to laugh. He is survived by: Son - Eli F. Kelly and his wife Peg, Bainbridge 3 Daughters - Dorlyn Burgin and Her husband, Bryan, Sidney Center Gail and David Butler, SC Angelet and Waleed Soltan, Sidney 9 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 2 great, great Grandchildren Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins He was also predeceased by Ruth Chase, Brother, Frank Kelly, Sisters, Pearl Vausse, Florence Kelly and Nora Todd Grandsons, Alan Jones and Daniel Butler Friends may call Monday, July 18, 2011 at 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Richard Price officiating. Burial will follow in Fly Creek Valley Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sidney Emergency Squad 74 River St. Sidney, NY 13838 Condolences may be sent online to www.landersfh.com Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney.
