Obituary of Robin Ann Gossoo

Robin A. Gossoo Sidney Center, NY Robin Ann Gossoo, 51, of Sidney Center, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, July 7, 2011 at her home. Robin was born on February 19, 1960, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Hoy) Constable in Sidney. She graduated from Sidney High School with the Class of 1978. On July 22, 1978, Robin married Joe E. Gossoo at the Sidney Center United Methodist Church. Robin was a longtime employee of Amphenol Corporation in Sidney working as a Materials Specialist. Robin enjoyed gardening and could often be found out mowing the lawn. She liked crafting and watching the birds. Robbin was an avid Nascar fan, especially the Earnhardt's, Dale Jr. and Sr. She also loved the ocean, and vacationing in Outer Banks, NC. Robin is survived by: Her loving husband, Joe E. Gossoo of Sidney Center Four siblings: Diane Benedict of Maryland, Jerry and Nancy Constable of Unadilla, Terry and Cindy Constable of Sidney Center and Roxanne and James Knight of Unadilla Sister-in-law, Kathryn and James Fey of Ithaca Mother-in-law, Jean Sanford of Sidney Center As well as several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 11:00am-1:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral chapel. Committal will take place in Highland Cemetery, Sidney Center.
