Obituary of Carrie Austermuhle

Carrie Austermuhle Sidney, NY Carrie Austermuhle 92 of Sidney passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Gilmour Health Care Facility in Norwich. She was born October 27, 1916, daughter of the late Bertran and Ada (Myers) Brown in German Flats, NY. Carrie resided in Oneonta, Laurens, Sidney and Unadilla most of her life. She married Otto Schrull on June 26, 1935 and later married Louis Austermuhle on April 27; 1968.Carrie was a union seamstress in the garment center in New York City and Oneonta. She was a member of ILGW Union for 22 years and volunteered at The Hospital ion Sidney for many years. She is survived by: Son and daughter-in-law - Otto and Edith Schrull, Unadilla Daughter and Son-in-law - Marleen and Eddie Holloman, Zephyrhills, FL 5 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren Friends may call Friday, April 17, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Mary Ann Linder officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney following cremation.
