Antoinette H. Bond Sidney, NY Antoinette H. Bond, 102, of Sidney died peacefully Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Johnson City, after a brief illness. She was born October 22, 1908 to the late Antonio and Almerinda (Navaretta) Esposito in Chicago, IL. Antoinette married Everett Bond on September 5, 1953 in Sidney. He predeceased her on November 2, 1992. Antoinette worked as a governess in White Plains and for Scintilla in Sidney during WWII. For many years she assisted Henry Pardee at Pardee's Stationery Store in Sidney. Antoinette was the oldest member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sidney. She is survived by: Nephews - Lawrence Dake and his wife Georgina John Pardee and his wife Jacki Niece - Susan Hooper and her husband William Grand Nephew, Larry Dake, Jr. and wife, Kelly Grand Niece, Sarah Eisele and husband, Daniel Great, Grand Niece, Avery Dake She was also predeceased by her sisters, Eva Dake, Anne Pardee, and a brother, Jerry Esposito Friends may call Monday, April 25, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 15 Liberty St. Sidney with Fr. Gordon Polenz officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery The family wishes to thank all of Antoinette's neighbors and friends for all of their love and support. As well as special thank you to Susan Barnes and Alicia Watson for their loving care and the staff of Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their dedication to her care.
