Jeanne Marie Albanese Knapp Bainbridge, NY Jeanne Marie Albanese Knapp, 54, of Bainbridge, lost her battle with cancer on April 16, 2011 at Lourdes Hospital. She passed away peacefully with family by her side. Jeanne was born on November 26, 1956 in Palisades Park, NJ, daughter of Ortenzio and Viola Albanese. Jeanne had several dogs, and was especially fond of her German Shepherds. Her favorite hobbies included being outside in the garden and spoiling her grandkids. She loved her family and friends, and will be dearly missed. Jeanne is survived by her mother, Viola Albanese; 3 children: William Knapp, Anthony Knapp and Teresa Knapp Sherman; 5 siblings: Mary Lynell (Nelly) Albanese Trzaska, Andrew (Sonny) Albanese, Marilyn Albanese, Joni Albanese and Ortenzio (Fella) Albanese; numerous nieces and nephews and life long friend, Sharon Crisell. She was also wonderful Nanny to 5 grandchildren: Jordan Knapp, Alyssa Knapp, Damian Knapp, Gabriel Sherman and Tanner Knapp. She was predeceased by her father, Ortenzio Albanese, brother, Andy, and the love of her life, Floyd (Sonny) Ingrahm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Oquaga Creek State Park in Bainbridge at 2:00pm on Sat. April 30, 2011. Family and friends are welcome. Memorial contributions in Jeanne's memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to Lourdes Hospice.
