Harold L. Bailey Afton, NY Harold Lloyd Bailey 84 of Afton went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton. He was born May 28, 1924, son of the late Earl D. and Beatrice (Wambold) Bailey in Morris, NY Harold served his country in the United States Army from 1944-1946. He was employed by the Amphenol Corp. in Sidney for 20 years when he retired. Harold was a regular at Henry's in Afton, especially for morning coffee. He also enjoyed beekeeping and was a member of the Beekeepers Association in Binghamton. Harold was a past member of the Circle Drive Alliance Church in Sidney. He is survived by: Daughter and son-in-law - Jaynie and Steve Manwarren, Lynchburg, VA 2 Brothers - Earl W. Bailey, Jr. - Afton Charles Bailey - Hamden 3 Sisters and a brother-in-law - Mabel Hubbard, Hamden Luella and Lynn Raymond, Newfield, CT Iona Jones, Hamden 6 Grandchildren - Lisa Gingerlowski, Paula Millard and her husband, Brad Michael Bailey, Jr. Joshua, Jenna and Jason Manwarren Great Grandchildren - Brandon and Hannah Gingerlowski Bailey Millard Many Nieces, Nephews and cousins He is also predeceased by his son, Michael Bailey, Sr. Friends may call Wednesday, April 15, 2009 the family will be in attendance from 6-8 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Circle Drive Alliance Church Circle Drive in Sidney. In lieu of the flowers contributions to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org are requested.
