Obituary of Irene M. Sprague

Irene M. Sprague, 79, of Trout Creek, died Saturday January 11, 2025, at Wilson Hospital, Johnson City.
She was born June 10, 1945, daughter of the late Arthur and Irene (Roser) Holtslander.
Irene married Russell Sprague on June 15, 1963. He predeceased her on November 19, 2012.
She worked for Eureka tent in Walton for many years and then working for McDonald’s in Sidney for 15 years.
Irene is survived by: Son Russell Sprague (Rhonda McClenon); granddaughter Mallory Sprague (Kalieb Gilmore); granddog, Gracie and several nieces, nephews and cousins. As well as very special friends Rosie on the hill, Laura and Rosie in town, Footie, Donny, Stan, Barb, and Ken.
She was preceded in death by her sister Marie Card and her two brothers Arthur Jr. and Edger Holtslander
Per Irene’s wish, there will be no calling hours or services.
Memorial donations can be made to the Trout Creek EMS, 8695 County Highway 27, Trout Creek, NY 13847.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel Sidney.
