Richard C. Simpson III, 31, of Sauquoit, NY went home to be with his heavenly father on August 7. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Simpson Jr., his sister, Kaitlyn Faith, his maternal grandmother Kathryn LaBore and his paternal parents, Geraldine and Richard Simpson Sr.

Richie is survived by his mother Katrina Whitehill (Michael). Sisters, Cortney Smith and Seira Simpson, nephews, Victor Hill and Landon Grier. His Poppy, Frank LaBore. He is also survived by his aunts Hazel Smith, Kristy LaBore, Samantha Watkins, Tina Burghart Kokoscka, Janice Burghart and uncles Johnny Smith, Frank LaBore, Eric LaBore, and several cousins.

If Roses grow in Heaven

Lord, please pick a bunch for me.

Place them in my Son's arms

and tell him they're from me.

Tell him that I love him and miss him,

and when he turns to smile,

place a kiss upon his cheek

and hold him for a while.

Because remembering him is easy,

I do it every day.

But there is an ache within my heart

that will never go away.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service. Burial in Walton Cemetery will take place at a later date.
