Rita (Yaeger) Cutting, a long-time resident of the Delhi Rehabilitation and NursingCenter, died June 23, 2024, at the age of 77 from complications associated with Multiple Sclerosis.
Rita was born April 3, 1947 to Lucy Belle Rosa and Anton Yaeger. She was 15th of 16 children.

Rita was diagnosed with MS at the age of 33. She found peace in nature, whether it was planting beautiful flowers or taking long walks in the woods. She could identify many wild plants and mushrooms and taught her children where to find morels and other wild, edible plants. She enjoyed crafting, was good at crocheting and sewing and was content working with her hands. She had strong, beautiful hands.
She is survived by her children, Ernest Cutting Jr. of Afton, Leslie Bowker of Walton, Jeff (Michelle) Cutting of Bainbridge, and Wendy (Kevin) Baldauf of South Carolina; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Timothy James Cutting (2003) and Craig Allen Murwin (2021).
