Caroline A. (Kitty) Barber Drachler, 81, formerly of Greene went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2023, with her husband Lloyd by her side. Her pain and suffering have ended. She was born on October 10, 1942, in Flanders, New Jersey to the late Claude Lewis and Isabel (Olds) Barber. They would move upstate where Kitty would graduate from Afton Central High School in 1962. Kitty worked as a caregiver for Broome Developmental for over 22 years. She had many fond memories and met many great people. Caroline was a member of the New York State Association of Fire Chaplains Association since 1986, which she held very dear. In her years of service, she would hold various job titles within the association. In 1988 she would marry the love of her life Lloyd Drachler at the methodist church in Bainbridge. Sharing many years of happiness together. Caroline will be missed by: loving husband Lloyd Drachler; Son: Robert and Vanessa Davies; Grandchildren: Deron Fenton and Andela Davies; sister: Janet Loudon; close friends: Willard Dann, Dian Drake, and Tim Fenton; and all of the fire and chaplain friends from the past 40 years. The burial will take place in the West Bainbridge cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Coventry Fire Department, Green Fire Department or the Delaware Valley Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
