Obituary of Tammy McCauley White

Please share a memory of Tammy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness and shattered hearts that the family of Tammy McCauley White shares with you that she has completed her earthly journey on June 3, 2024. Tammy was surrounded by her family and their love as she was all the days of her life. Tammy waged a courageous battle against breast cancer for nearly 16 years. She was a daily inspiration to men and women alike, those that battle cancer and those that haven't. She showed so many what it means to be a warrior, a fighter, and how you should never just accept an initial prognosis from the doctor's. If Tammy had listened to the doctors when her cancer returned, she would not have lived past 18 months. But Tammy had a reason to fight so hard and that reason is Brianna. She wanted to see her daughter graduate high school, start college, turn 21 and she wanted to see her husband turn 50, a milestone he reached on May 9th. Tammy did all of those things and more. She exceeded the doctor's prognosis by more than 5 and 1/2 years. Tammy was a devoted mother to Brianna, and Bri's boyfriend, Anthony Scionti, a loving wife to Cliff. An adored daughter of Richard "Dick" McCauley. She was the baby sister of Teri (Jim) Moccia and Tom (Bonne) McCauley. Tammy was predeceased by her mom, Carol Drumm, who passed away in 1994. She was the daughter-in-law of Barb and Papa Joe Spivey. The sister-in-law of Nicole (Mike) Dempsey, and Kasey (Alex) Spivey. She was a loving aunt, cousin, and niece to many. Tammy leaves behind friends all over the country, and to try and name special friends would result in hurt feelings and that is the last thing she would want. Just know, you know who you are, and she knows what you did. Tammy's legacy will always be #teamtammy we will continue to make sure that we fight for a cure for the disease that she so bravely fought. If you want to remember Tammy, schedule your cancer screenings, and encourage your friends to do the same!!
