Obituary of Charlotte "Cindy" Hart

Please share a memory of Charlotte to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, Relative, Friend. OUR ONE AND ONLY MEME has gained her wings and is hand in hand reunited at last with the light and love of her life, Poppy. Charlotte "Cindy" Hart passed away peacefully from health complications on May 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 22, 1954 (a very lucky day) to her parents, Harold and Leona Decker. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Donald Hart, Sr., who passed away in 2014 and has left her brokenhearted ever since. She was also predeceased by a sister she loved dearly, the two that were thick as thieves, Roxanne "Roxy" Cutting, and brother, Michael Decker. She is survived by her three children: Audra Hart (Mike), Donald Hart (Pam), and Rodney Hart (Jessica). Anyone who knows our mother knows that the one thing in life she was most proud of was her children. They were her world and she was the rock of the family. A truly devoted and loving mother. In 1988, her first grandson (Mark Hart) was born, and from then on, she was our one and only truly one of a kind Meme. A role she absolutely cherished. She shared a special relationship with each and every one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and all in the world knew not to mess with any of them. She is survived by her grandchildren: Mark Hart, Vanessa Grier (Tanner), Kimberly Akshar (Joshua), Tyler Hart (Shayla), Bailey Hart, Blake and Bryce Hart and Dominick Butler; and great-grandchildren who she absolutely adored and brought her so much joy: Kolby, Kinsley, Bryar and Gunner. She is also survived by her brother, Hank (Diane) Decker, who shared a very special moment with her while she was ill; sisters, Virginia Caldwell and Linda Crews (Cliff). Cindy will be greatly missed, but the memories and love she has imprinted will last forever. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all of the doctors and nurses at UHS Wilson Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care and love received during our mother's stay. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
