Sue Ann Stone Obituary

Sue Ann (Higbie) Stone 69 of Unadilla passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2024, in Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse following an equestrian accident.


Sue Ann was born January 19, 1955, daughter of the late Robert and Verna (Ames) Higbie of Wells Bridge.


She is survived by her husband, Tom Stone with whom she shared 45 years of love and happiness,


2 Sons, Christopher Stone (Marlee), Timothy Stone (Carlene) and her beloved grandchildren.


As well as Sisters, Bobbie Pomerleau (Bob), Linda Stockwell (Bob), and Carol McGowan (Frank)


Sue was also predeceased by brothers, John, and Jim.


Sue loved horseback riding, gardening, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family.


Her kind and veracious personality made it impossible not to love her.


Sue will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends.


A celebration of life for family and friends to share stories will be announced at a later date.


In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Delaware Valley Humane Society PO
