Gregory J. Tiska passed away on March 31, 2024. He was born February 29, 1964 to Kathleen Boardman and Stephen A. Tiska Jr. of Masonville. Married Barbara A. Miller on June 21, 1986. Having 4 children Cassidy, David, Brian, and Brody. He was an active member of the community being Assistant Fire Chief for the Masonville Fire Department for numerous years, also working for the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and ultimately becoming the calm in the storm when you called for help as a 911 Dispatcher. He also supported his kids in any endeavor they had. Always routing them on from the sidelines from football to field hockey. He was the master mechanic at home when anything needed fixing and included the kids by "here hold the flashlight." At the end of the day he was loving and devoted to his family. He was predeceased by his son, David A. Tiska on April 15, 1999. Friends may call from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 8th in the Masonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Greg's memory may be directed to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, PO Box 182, Sidney, NY 13838. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
