Beverly June Cutting-Pilek (Oct. 23, 1943-March 15, 2024) of Afton, NY, beloved mother of Danielle Pilek Elkan (husband Alex) and Eugena Pilek Swart (husband Greg), grandma to Max & Miles Elkan and Emmy and Peyton Swart, passed unexpectedly but peacefully in the home that she loved.

She was a true green thumb gardener, the queen of DIY, and a selfless nurse with a kind word and caring hand for friend and stranger alike. She was incredibly brave and equally generous. She was an inspiration to her daughters whom she raised to know there is nothing a girl can't do. Her boisterous laugh made you want to join in. Her faith was strong and gave her peace to the end. She is smiling in heaven, now with her parents Gladys and Stewart Cutting and loved ones who have gone before. Besides her children and grandchildren, she is survived by siblings Larry, Chester, Tom, Susan, Joan, Sarah, Portia and Sonia.

A celebration of life ceremony for Beverly will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Afton, 30 Caswell Street Afton, NY 13730.

She loved springtime when the flowers were abloom. Her memory lives on and will grow with each passing season.
