Joseph F. Santorelli, 89 of Unadilla, NY (formerly of Brewster NY) passed away peacefully at the A. O. Fox hospital in Oneonta early morning on March 5, 2024. He will be most remembered for his job of overseeing the custodial staff for the Brewster School District. He was loved by the teachers, his co-workers as well as all the students. Many called him 'dad.' Joe loved being outdoors. He was a Scoutmaster for Boy scout Troop #252. He was a lifetime member of the Brewster Fire Dept. as well as the Knights of Columbus. He was very patriotic and proudly displayed the American flag. He loved watching eagles. Santorelli (Jean) and his daughter, Barbara Haynes (David), 2 grandsons, Kevin and Anthony and a nephew Rick (Ronnie) Santorelli. Joe was predeceased by 2 sons, Michael, and Jeffrey, as well as his 3 brothers Tony, Ralph and John. Joe has been cremated and will be put to rest in Brewster, NY with his 2 sons at a later time.
