Juanita "Jai" Merideth died unexpectedly at her home on February 19, 2024.

Jai served proudly in the United States Army. She was stationed at Fort Dix NJ as a Specialist E4 as an x-ray specialist, med assistant. Jai earned the national defense service medal. Her last duty assignment and major command was at Fort Dix Walson Army Hospital.

Since 2006, Jai has worked as a case manager at Delaware Opportunities where she was very dedicated to assisting others.

She is survived by her loving children, Jim and Katrina Snyder and Janelle and Butch Hartwell; many grandchildren: Camille, Brittni, Emily, Kallie, Nate (wife Katie), Jenna, Nicholas and Lacey; great-grandchildren: Penelope, Maddy and Bryn.

The family will be holding a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Delaware Opportunities located in Hamden NY.
