Rosemary Gail Moore, 72, of Deposit, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 5, 2024. Rose was born on January 2, 1952 in Deposit, NY, daughter of the late Harland W. Walley and Golden Juanita (Beardsley) Walley. She married her loving husband, John R. Moore on April 13, 1990. He predeceased her in 2002. Her favorite pastimes included crafting, going to yard sales, and cooking for family and friends alike. Rose took pride in decorating her home for every holiday, especially Halloween and Christmas. She is survived by her son, David Bush and his wife Jenneen of Sidney Center and their children, Jaclyn (Omar) Afify of South Carolina, Megan Stafford (Kyle Laurinaitis) of Sidney, Shannon (Michael) DeGroat of Bainbridge and Matthew Stafford of Sidney Center; "oodles" (her words) of great-grandkids; her sister, Mechele Wormuth, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her loving husband, John; ten siblings: Virginia, Ruth, Joan, Gloria, Debbie, Linda, Jerry, Jack, Russel, Pearl and Donald; and her best friends, Ida Viele and Theresa Goble. Friends are invited to call from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, February 16, 2024 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Rose's family believes Rose would love that you donate to a charity of your choice.
