Armond E Wheeler III (Gator) 62 of Davenport passed away after a short illness on Thursday December 14, 2023.
Family was very important to Gator and he loved his children and grandkids deeply. He also loved coffee, 24/7 he would drink coffee. Gator loved coffee with friends and family, especially at camp. He loved dogs and working with wood when he was able. He really loved old cars and sharing them to unsuspecting family members at all odd hours of the night.
He was predeceased by his mother Sharon Wheeler (Jackson ),
Father and Best friend Armond E Wheeler Jr. (Sonny), and brother David, Sisters Kandy and Shelly, a nephew Edward Squires, niece, Sharon McConnell, nephew, Tony McConnell and beloved canine companion Carlos.
Gator is survived by Wife of 36 years Diane Wheeler and their children: Armond Wheeler and wife Morgan: Grandchildren Hudson and Liam
Glenn Wheeler and wife Brianna: Grandchildren, Christopher, Zoey and Sophia
Jessica Wheeler and companion Teela Childers and grandson Treyton
Jennifer Wheeler and companion Mike Errichetto

Peggy Wheeler and her children Forrest and Paulena.
Debby Wackerman and husband, Ed Wackerman, and her daughter Felicia.
Arnold Wheeler, and companion Fluffy and his daughters Abby and Katie.
Armanda Crandall and husband Robert Crandall and their Daughter Remington
Adrianne Perry and husband Benjamin Perry and their children Brittany, Joe and Benny.
Mark Wheeler and his sons Devon, Kyle and Connor.
Matthew Wheeler and wife Amy Wheeler and children Jennaya, Matthew Jr and Gracie.
John Wheeler and wife Rebecca Wheeler his sons, Dylan, Braden, Logan, Holden and their daughter Gracelyn. Also niece, Sara Wheeler, nephew, Dakota Reed, and niece, Shania Reed.
Gator will be missed by all that knew him, we will miss those old cars and recipes in the middle of the night but we know he is enjoying a cup a coffee and reminiscing with loved ones.
