Obituary of Agnes L. Carson

Agnes L. Finch Carson, 81, of Unadilla passed away on October 24, 2023 at 11:15 am. Agnes was born in Masonville to Burton Finch and Velma (Burnside) Finch on August 10, 1942. She married Arnold F. Carson on September 10, 1965, spending many years of happiness together before he predeceased her on May 10, 1998. Agnes then shared 23 years with Frank Crawford before he predeceased her on November 22, 2022. She attended the old Sidney High School until 10th grade. Agnes had many jobs that included babysitting, working at the nursing home in Unadilla, Amphenol, Keith Clark, and CWS in Norwich. She was a hard worker and valued at every job. Agnes is survived by: three daughters, Jennie Carson, Mary Carson Young (husband Russell), Carol Carson Frank (husband Craig); one son, Michael A. Carson; five sisters, Katherine Finch Bell, Margaret Finch Cameron (husband Ronnie), Carol Finch Gregory (husband Gary), Nettie Finch Kelly, Dorothy Finch Daniels; one brother, LaVern Finch (wife Grace), 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to Arnold and Frank, Agnes was predeceased by her father, Burton Finch, mother and stepfather, Velma and Ivan Spencer; and sister Barbara (Finch) Beardsley.
