Obituary of Robert Wayne Palmatier

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Robert Wayne Palmatier, 80, of Deposit NY on October 8th, 2023, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. Robert was born in Deposit to Layton and Pauline Palmatier on May 18th, 1943. He went to Deposit school where he was on the wrestling and baseball teams and graduated in 1962. He worked for the Amphenol Corporation for 41 years and enjoyed going to ballgames, goings for walks, bike rides and spending time with his family. Robert is survived by his wife Debra Palmatier of 47 years and his children John J. Hendrickson (Jackie), Cheryl Sickler, Brian Palmatier (Alana) and Tiffiny Palmatier; also his 7 grandchildren Brandon Sickler (Lacie), Kameron Sickler, Raegan Palmatier, Vida Hendrickson, Jack Hendrickson, Ariya Toth, Leilynn Palmatier. He is survived by his twin sister Mary Ryan (Terry) as well as nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws and cousins. He preceded in death by his parents Layton and Pauline Palmatier, his sister Johann Brooks and his brother James Palmatier.
