Obituary of Sandra F. Frank

Sandra F. Frank Sandra F. Frank, 87 of Sidney passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City. She was born on May 15, 1936 in Masonville, daughter of the late Richard and Eva (Gray) Wagner. On September 18, 1954, Sandra was married to Edward Frank, sharing years of happiness together before he predeceased her on September 15, 2019. Together they operated a dairy farm in Masonville for many years. Later they owned and operated The Penguin ice cream stand also located in Masonville. This is where she would become known as “The Ice Cream Lady” to the locals. Sandra had many interests but a few of her favorites were playing pitch on Thursday nights and Sundays where she would meet lots of new friends. Also, she enjoyed her new Great Grandson McGraw. She was so happy when she was with him. Sandra was survived by her daughter: Lori Schneider (Wayne Hubbell), Granddaughter: Melissa Cawley (husband Mitchell), Great Grandson: McGraw Cawley, Brother: Dale Wagner (Barbara), Sisters: Janette Hafele, Nancy Vanpelt, Greta Cutting, Sister-in-law: Marie Church and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Sandra was predeceased by her brother Robert Church. At this time there will be no service.
