Chris was predeceased by his grandparents Marion and George Chickering as well as Lousie and Don DeWolfe Christopher was born on June 20th 1981 in Syracuse, New York. He grew up in Afton, New York and attended Afton Senior High School. He later on attended SUNY Cobleskill and graduated with a degree in culinary arts. He loved to cook for his family and friends. He will forever be remembered for his “famous” wings, buffalo chicken wing dip watching football and his amazing Christmas dinners. Chris was a spirited soul who took on many passions. One being his career. He took so much pride in his personal business and worked hard dedicating his life to building it. He was an avid golfer, he never missed a Masters Sunday which he considered a holiday to celebrate, even hosting it at his home for the occasion. You would often find him enjoying his time at the lake with his two dogs Cooper and Sadie who meant the world to him. He loved entertaining his family and friends boating, grilling and enjoying company at Lake Wallenpaupack, one of his favorite places which later became a sacred space for him to escape to. Chris loved the holidays, especially Christmas. He took so much pride in his annual Christmas donations to local schools, often taking on multiple families with many children he would personally shop for each year. If there was one thing you could count on from Chris, aside from him being late, is that he could always make you laugh, and he certainly knew how to drive you crazy, but you couldn’t help but love him for it. He cared so deeply for his friends and family . He made an impact on many lives and will be forever missed. We hope you are swinging those clubs. Until we meet again.
