Obituary of Gale C. Wilson

Gale C. Wilson of Mount Upton, New York passed away at home surrounded by family on July 09, 2023. He was born October 10, 1933 in Earlville, New York. Gale was the son of Harold and Pearle Wilson. He married Sandra Stickle on January 12, 1957 in Bainbridge, New York. They had 5 children: sons, Randy Wilson and Mark (Melody) Wilson, and daughters, Sherry Redmond, Audrey (Rick) Woerter and Robin Wilson. Gale was a talented man. He owned and operated Gale's Barber Shop in Mount Upton for many years. He also enjoyed his hobbies. He built beautiful furniture and refurbished antiques. He started the Excavating Business called "Wilson and know it all Sons" which gave him much enjoyment. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gale was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Wilson, son-in-law, Thomas Redmond, granddaughter, Chelsea Wilson and many brothers and sisters. In addition to his five children, he is survived by sisters: Janice Brown, Carole Keys and Nancy Wilson; sister-in-law, Donna Wilson; sister-in-law, Bertha and Charles Spathelf as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Family would like to extend a Special Thank You to Linda Albright Seneck, Jon Wilson (grandson) and Caregivers Pat, Peggy and Robin for their Unconditional Love and Care of Gale. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Upton.
