John Joseph Henchey, 68 years old of Sidney, NY, passed away on April 10th 2023 in Sidney.
He was born in Hempstead, NY to John Mulroy and Ellen Henchey (Borke) on May 13th 1954. He went to Sidney High School and graduated in 1972. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 - 1977 and received both the Marksmanship Rifle Badge and a Good Conduct Medal.
He enjoyed singing, songwriting and fishing. John is survived by his daughters Rebecca Henchey (Sidney), Laura Gouker and Husband Michael Gouker (Orlando, FL), his grandsons Logan, Dominic and Jaden. He is also survived by his brothers Keith Henchey, Todd Henchey, Patrick Henchey, Joe Henchey and numerous nieces and nephews.
We truly appreciate all the condolences and support. We will miss our father with all our hearts.
