Alberta M. "Bertie" Wilson 92 of Sidney Center passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023 in Walton.
She was born June 4, 1930, daughter of the late Dean and Ruby (Russell) Davis in Morris at home.
Bertie was a graduate of Franklin Central School.
She married Charles A. Wilson on June 28, 1952 in Hallstead, PA. He predeceased her on July 15, 2007.
Bertie was employed at Amphenol in Sidney. She worked in assembly and then inspection for 35 years before retiring.
She was former member of the IAM and AW local 1529 and a member of the Sidney Center and Northfield Community Church. She was also involved with the Boy Scouts.
Anyone who knew Bertie, knew she loved her family and spending time with them. They also know they could count on fresh banana bread or homemade applesauce. Bertie welcomed all with open arms and a hot meal.
Bertie is survived by her three sons, Freeman T. Wilson of Guilford, Daniel O. Wilson, Sidney and Robert A. Wilson of Bainbridge.

Bertie was also predeceased by daughter, Marlinda Lou Wilson and siblings, Elizabeth Vandusen, Doug Davis, Clark Davis, Nancy Bailey and Richard Davis
Friends may call Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00am at CH Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Randy Palada officiating. Burial will follow in Masonville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bertie's name to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
